We have adopted 12 kids -- all as older kids (though were two foster kids first and were toddlers). They are now 11-23, so we are drowning in teenagers, but we love it. So pleased to see that several of you are expecting or considering adopting kids over 10. There is a huge need out there. I work for Adopt America and I have kids come through my email every day that haven't had any inquiries because they are too old.

Wow Candy, what a Merry Christmas that was. And in such a hurry too.
You are so blessed. I do hope that things continue to go well for you.
Brightest blessings for a wonderful New Year.

We adopted a sibling group of four whom were all separated in the foster care system. We reunited them in our home fourteen years ago. They were 4,5,6,7. Now they are all grown up and I miss all the hustle and bustle. We now have three grand children and I am grateful. Birth mother is back in the picture so it is kind of strange. I would do it again in a heart beat. This is their confirmation picture.
