Happy New Year from "Adopting in your 50's". I hope everyone has a wonderful 2012. If you get a chance, check in and let us hear how life is going these days with the little ones. Mine are getting big, 2 are 5 and 1 is 7. Love the life!

Congratulations Julie, on the finalization of your 2 yr old. I know it is a relief and a joy. I finalized on my now 6 yr old when he was 2. I still feel the awesome sense of relief that legalities are settled. I was 53 when we finalized. My 3 little guys, one being 6 and 2 four now are getting bigger and older everyday but not ME!!!!!!!!Nope! Don't have time for that!:-)

And I would feel young because you're 2 years younger than me? LOL, I don't think so (my girls are now 5 & 6)

Okay, just to make the rest of you feel young. My husband and I just finalized the adoption of our two year old. I'm 53 and my husband is 51.

These are great pictures! Just wanted to wish every one Happy New Year! For those who are seeking their future child I Pray Your Journey will be fulfilled and for those of us who would love to mother another little one may God use our hearts to be a blessing to children that need a mother's touch!
