Which Arkansas adoption agencies would you suggest working with or NOT working with?
Also, what are the relinquishment laws for bfather and mother? Is it true that in Ark you finalize your adoption before you leave the state-that is if you live outside of Ark?

@Errin- It's been a while and I hope everything is still going well. Any new news on the baby? WHen's he due?

@Deesmom- I'm not sure about all the details of my adoption so I have no helpful advice for you. I wish I did. I did look for a while before I found my biological family, so be patient. Good Luck!

Is there anyone here who was adopted from the state of Ark and tried to get your info? Was adoption private thru a lawyer or an agency?

Hey Amy, so far so good, she has been taking weekly shots to help his lungs develop just in case he wants to come early. She called me and told me that she is feeling a lot better. I am surprised at how fast time is flying, maybe because i still feel like i have so much to get done.

Hello, Hope everybody is doing great. I have found it the baby is a boy, I am so excited, Birth mother is having trouble right now, she is 24 weeks, her cervix is thinning, and the baby is already head down, I guess he is just as anxious to see me. I am praying that everything goes well.

No preference, just waiting, I am just happy to have a healthy baby and the experience of parenthood......although a boy would be nice, I am one of three girls and I have 4 nieces.

O0o0o GOOD!!! Ovbiously, you'll be happy for a healthy child, but any preference as to sex?
