I went to bloggy boot camp last sat and they suggested doing a give away blog.  Not sure how I did but if you could use a few TIde To Go Pens this blog is for you.

Many comments on the Adoptive Families Circle website re: my last post noted that beyond moving to a racially diverse area, I offer no ideas for how to make your life, and hence your child’s life more diverse.  So here is my last post for a while on this topic, which includes some ideas.  Please feel free to include any ideas I have missed in the comments as well. The more we can help each other, the better.

Oh, and BTW, Kate Hlava's post on transracial adoption (linked below) is excellent, IMHO.

I've been blogging a lot about adoption issues lately, most recently exploring what it means for my daughter and I to each have two "real" mothers: http://rebecca-hawkes.blogspot.com/2011/10/lets-get-real-embracing-...

(I'm an a-daughter and and a-mom.)

I was really struck by the resistance to the idea of how important diversity is for families formed by transracial adoption. Here's my 2 cents for what they're worth. http://thrivingdespiteus.blogspot.com/2011/10/love-is-not-all-we-needsorry-john.html
