Just posted to my blog (http://ourcontinuingchinaconnection.blogspot.com) about a recent report on the State of Adoption from China.
Very interesting reading for China adoptive families.

LOVE WITHOUT BOUNDARIES:

How can you double your money in an instant? Donate to LWB's foster care program before March 15th and your full donation will be matched - - dollar for dollar!! PLUS your donation is tax deductible! The deal of the century AND you are helping orphaned kids know the love of a family!

Hi, I am the adoptive mother of a girl born in China. LuYao was born in Fengxin county of the Jiangxi Province, and officially became our daughter January 28, 2007. Chinese New Year is a doubly auspicious occasion for us! But since My husband and I are both Caucasian and have no family ties to Chinese tradition, we rely on the group resources and families we get to know here in the San Francisco Bay area. Our strong desire is for our daughter to maintain a connection to her Chinese heritage and to celebrate Chinese culture. And since she is, and will be, an only child (who happens to differ "racially" from us) we'd like for our daughter to get to make friends whom she can identify with.

LOVE WITHOUT BOUNDARIES:
Our Foster Care Programs in China allow approximately 300 children in 7 provinces to share in the love of a family of their own. Each child has 2 sponsors who pay for the foster parent salaries through their monthly subscriptions. However, those subscriptions only just cover the foster care fee, leaving us little money for anything extra. Love Without Boundaries believes in caring for the ‘whole’ child and providing the help a child requires to achieve his or her highest potential.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that one of our wonderful donors, who understands the importance of foster care so well, has come forward and offered to match any donation given to LWB Foster Care, for the period of February 15 – March 15 2010, up to $36,000 total!!!

Please consider making a donation, no matter how small, to our Foster Care General Fund between February 15 – March 15, 2010 . Every dollar will be matched! Together we can! Learn more about what this fundraiser can achieve.

Love Without Boundaries is gearing up for the Annual "Born in my Heart Art Auction" on eBay to raise awareness and much needed funds for children in China’s orphanages. These children need life-saving surgeries and often have no one to advocate for them. We're looking for donations for the auction! Please see http://www.lovewithoutboundaries.com/borninmyheart2010.cfm to learn more!
