Hi everyone! I am author of "Restorative Grief" -- A Bible study for birthmothers to aid them in overcoming their grief while hopefully simultaneously encountering Jesus. You can learn more at: www.cynthiachristensen.com

Hi everybody!
We are Christ followers, walking in Faith, and living in the Central Southern US.
We are married for 14 years with a 10 yr old child, through adoption at birth, and are praying to be blessed with another baby or twins, or perhaps baby and young toddler sibling. Here to support, encourage and network.
We have added a couple of our family pictures. Hope you will friend us and think of us as you hear postings, please share them if they are not a fit for your family, as I will also be doing. We would love to hear any other suggestions you may have as we are planning a non-agency adoption this time around.
Thanks & Blessings to you all!

My wife and I wanted to have a child. But after ten fruitless years of trying the old fashion way, we accepted the fact that we may be infertile and have chosen not to pursue other methods (drugs, in vitro, etc...). My wife has always talked about adoption so it was our next logical option. Biology has been quietly put to rest; however, we still very much want to be parents.

We always saw having a family as the next great adventure. Adoption filled us with hope, a sense of possibility. We hope that you and your unborn baby are a part of our new adventure. Growing our family and watching us as we slowly climb down cloud nine once we are asked to be a Mommy & Daddy.

We met Halloween night 1996 dancing. Norys was dressed as a saloon girl and Bobby was dressed as himself. Norys stopped in her tracks as she starred at him until his friend caught her. She was so embarrassed that she ran straight to the bathroom and did not come out for over 20 minutes. When she finally did he saw her and asked her to dance. We danced the night away.

Six months later we moved in together. A year and a half later we purchased our first property and were engaged two years after that. We had a whirl wind romance that still feels new fourteen years later.
