This would be our first child and we are welcome to advice to help us along on this process it can be a lonely process when friends and family don't all understand the emotion that a couple goes through.

We have been enjoying our time together in the mean time going to concerts and taking time to visit friends and family.

I live in Muskegon Mi. A small town out side Grand Rapids. I am single and Caucasian I have five adopted African American children. One private at birth through an agency and four adopted through foster care. Also looks like I might get my foster son and his sister back. Seven under seven four still in diapers. And I wondered at one time if I would ever have any...lol

Me and my husband live in Saint Helen, MI and are starting our adoption. we have had a few friends come up to us and asked if we would like to adopt there children but nothing back and now are starting to look into more things. Thought starting this my husband and I are starting a foundation on top of trying to adopt for people that wont to adopt and would like some help with there adoption......

Comment by Annie Kitching on February 1, 2010 at 12:05pm: I'm always willing to talk about or promote adoption! The doll company sounds so cool.... I have to tell you this story. We adopted our daughter Nastya from Russia when she was 7. At that time a volunteer at the orphanage gave me photos of two little girls that she desperately wanted to find families for, so I took the photos home and actually ended up finding families for the girls. Well....comes the day Nastya wanted a baby doll, and we planned an afternoon to go to the store and pick out her baby doll. We got there and she pulled out of her little purse a picture of a baby that she picked up from somewhere. That was "her referral" I guess....and she went up and down the row of dolls until she found "her" baby.

She tells me she is going to get married, move to Russia, adopt lots of babies and I can take care of them - sounds good!

Comment by Annie Kitching on January 8, 2010 at 10:11am: We adopted four times through Adoption Options Worldwide in Troy. It is a small agency that I found to be absolutely honest and scrupulous. We paid so much less for our adoptions (Russia) than anyone else I know....it was a miracle.
