We got home from AZ early this morning. We met our baby's birth mom and it was AMAZING. She is perfectly awesome. Things are going so well- baby due in June. Davin and I are feeling to humbled to be chosen by her. Can't wait to meet our baby! :)

yep. they came back. we'll see what happens this time

Did they back out after the baby was born? We have had two failed placements- one a few weeks before the baby was born, and one the day after the baby was born. It's so painful, hey? Well, I will say a prayer that everything works out and you get to bring your forever baby home.

We haven't been officially matched this time. (yet) We are going to meet the birthgrandmother to talk about it. I am still hoping that it will happen but I am being very careful since she backed out once before. Who knows when placement will take place.

So, you've already been matched and are going to adopt the 16-month old? Is that right? Wow, always a story I have never heard before when it comes to adoption! Do you know when the placement will happen? I get so excited everytime someone gets matched! :)

We were matched with the birthmom 16 months ago but she decided to parent. She now realizes that the best thing is for her to place her child. The baby is 16 months old!!

We have a meeting with birthparents on Friday. We live in Central Minnesota & have been waiting for a match for 2 and a half years.
