Sure do Carol! I am a birth mother and I wrote a book for my children to explain to them why I chose adoption for them. The message of the book is that adoption is about the love for the child, not that the child was not wanted. It is called The Best For You and I cannot tell you how many times I have been contacted by other mothers who thank me for writing the book, not to mention others that have told me what a wonderful gift it is for adoptees. Feel free to check it out, or check out my blog for more information about it. It just may be the gift that you are looking for.

Fabulous memoir by a birth mother. Covers her life in adoption, life after adopiton and her reunion with the son she chose adoption for after 40 years. I cannot say enough about this book, a great read for any birth mother out there!

I am a birthmom who had a son 10/2009 and I am looking for other birthmoms or people who understand where people like me are coming from. I don't actually have any one to talk to when I need support. I am also great in talking to birthmoms who are pregnant considering adoption just so they can hear my story. :o)

A fantastic read about how open adoption can work! Remember that Happy Thought from the other day? Well I did a follow up because what happened in repsonse to the post was what we all hope for! My daughter loved it, and I love that she lets me share it with all of you!
