Texas Adoption

I noticed in one of the groups that several of us have adopted in Texas due to their accomodating laws. This group can serve to help waiting parents and for us can be a place to get to know families with similar adoption experiences.

Hi!  I'm new... We are in Central Texas, and we are using Generations Adoptions out of Waco... I've seen a few comments from people in the Houston and DFW areas, and Generations works in those areas too.  We are adopting an infant domestically, but Generations does international as well... If you are still searching check them out.

Hi everyone! I'm new here and very interested in adopting a newborn through independent adoption. But I've just started exploring the whole adoption process in general so if anyone has advice, suggestions, tips...I'd happily accept them! :) thanks!

Hi,
We are looking into adopting from Texas Has anyone heard of an agency called Sans Pareil Center in Houston? They also have an office in Conroe. Any information would be helpful. We want to start the process but are a little worried that it might not be for real, because they said that it is easy and pretty fast to adopt though them. They deal with foster children. Thank you :)

Hi, I am another new face. My husband Mike and I are looking to adopt our second child. We are from Plano Texas. We adopted our daughter who is now 4 pretty quick. This time it is taking a bit longer. We can't wait to be parents again.

My name is Ola Zuri and I would like to introduce you to a new children’s book series that will help to solve a problem. Recently published, Where Do I Belong?, is the second book in the series with topics relating to transracial adoption, foster care, racism, fitting in, questions about family, racial identity, and most of all, self esteem and self confidence. The inspiration for these stories has stemmed from my own personal experiences as a transracial adoptee and the various areas of difficulty that have been discussed with me by other adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents.
