hello!  my husband and i are in "Big Wait" right now.  It is definitely an emotional journey, we have 6 mos to go!  Yikes right?  Please feel free to shed any and all advice.  We sure do need it :)  Hope all is well for everybody.  Sending positive thoughts to all.

OK, so 2012 was a bust for matching for us.  There were children in the offering, but the fit was never there.  I am hopeful that 2013 will finally find us bringing home a sweet daughter. 

 

How is everyone else? Any holiday gifts that you want to share?

Hello out there.  We are still waiting too. We've had some profiles to consider and re-consider.  Just no fit yet.  Soon we hope, but of course the seasons for adopting from our Ministry are such that we are coming to yet another slow season.  If it is to be it will be.

Yay Penny!!! That is awesome. I am sure it is just a huge relief to finally be done... for now. ;) Update on us. We let our homestudy expired and ended up being able to do invitro. I am now 6 weeks pregnant and will find out next week whether we will be adding one or two to our family! :)

Today our "wait" is officially over. We had our final court date! The whole process.....four years to the week. I guess now we are taking a year off before we look into another adoption.  I'll check in periodically because I like to hear how everyone is doing. Aaaaand will be back in a year to start ALL OVER. (God help us!)  Friends, keep your spirits up, your wait will be over before you know it!!!!

Update on us: Renewing the homestudy, even though we said we wouldn't. Hard to tell your nine year old that you're calling it quits. So, onward and upward! How's everyone else doing?
