So our bm invited me to her next appointment to see the u/s and hear the heartbeat. I am so nervous!!! What with all our heartbreak in the past I hate to get too involved but we really think this one is going to stick. And I don't want to say anything stupid or something like that. Ack! :) But I think I will go if I can get off my brand new only been on the job a week and a half job. yeesh

So happy for you Missy! Lots of matches and successes lately!  We to have spoke with a mom just last week and we  are going to be meeting with her and her husband Sunday. Everything is looking great and she has already told me as well as the agency she wants us to be her couple :) So exciting!

Our meeting with bm went well. She is a really nice young lady. She has some mental health issues and delays but it was harder to notice, she mentioned them. We found out she's having a boy! Which is exciting. There is some issues with bf not responding to the sw's letters so we aren't too sure what is up with him. But he has a warrant out so we don't think he'll be showing up at the court date. The bm and me had a lot of little things in common, it was almost creepy :) but all in all it went great we get along very well and connected well I thought. She's really sweet and we can't wait to get to know her better.

Bm meeting tomorrow! I am a little nervous because she is cognitively disabled and it may run in her family. As a past special Ed teacher I know that a lot of it depends on early intervention and environment so I am not too nervous, but it is still on my mind.

So now I'm nervous about what we will talk about! I need some tips and topics people! The hubs researched a little and came up with some general things like ask about bf, tactfully, her interests, what she wants the baby to know.... But what else?
