Welcome to AdoptionVoices, the adoption social network! As a member
of AdoptionVoices, we want you to have a safe place to share your
story and ideas with others who understand and care as well as
learn from other members of the adoption triad, advocates and
professionals.
AdoptionVoices seeks a welcoming, supportive community that honors
and respects all voices. Our desire at AdoptionVoices is to create
a neutral environment where we can openly and honestly share our
experiences, joys and sorrows without fear of harsh words or
judgments from others. For this community to be successful, we must
respect each other. This includes talk about other AdoptionVoices
members, adoption agencies, attorneys, organizations and
AdoptionVoices staff.
We welcome diverse opinions and respectful discussions between
people who have different views, however AdoptionVoices is an
adoption social network. It is not an anti-adoption social network.
AdoptionVoices is not the place to advocate anti-adoption views
zealously. Everyone is welcome to join AdoptionVoices, so long as
this sentiment is respected. There are other sites that are more
appropriate for expressing anti-adoption views.
AdoptionVoices will not tolerate inappropriate interaction between
it’s members on the site. Personal attacks, name calling, bullying,
bad-mouthing other's views, slandering, finger-pointing, blaming,
intimidating and harassing is not appropriate and should be
reported to site moderators. Hateful, obscene and racist comments
and content will be deleted. Spammers and scammers will not be
tolerated and removed from the site. This includes solicitation of
goods and/or services that are not related to adoption. However,
even products and services related to adoption that are promoted in
a spam-like fashion will be removed. Adult content, pornography,
nudity and profanity are not acceptable. AdoptionVoices reserves
the right to remove any content or members, or modify the Community
Guidelines at our discretion.
Posting content that violates copyrights of other parties is not
acceptable. Do not post content on AdoptionVoices that you do not
want made public. If you are posting content about others, please
make sure you have their permission to do so.
As we do not screen content before it is posted on AdoptionVoices,
if there is something on the site that you feel violates these
policies, please report the content to the site moderators.
