- Share a little about your adoption story
- My interest in adoption began while supporting a friend making the choice for another couple to parent the child she was expecting. That experience led me to explore more information and resources about adoption during and after graduate school.
I add to MLJ Adoptions, Inc. 15 years of child care and child education experience, a master's degree in counseling, the experience of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, training as an Adoption Specialist, Indiana family law trainings, experience as a Parenting Coordinator, and a heart to equip and prepare parents to create the best situation possible for each child.
My responsibilities include completing home studies and post-placement reports, teaching the Adoption Preparation courses for prospective adoptive parents and directing our Expectant Care program for expectant mothers.
