My son was 11 when we adopted a 4 year old. He was extremely important in the process. He was old enough to understand the whole process and went to classes and participated in the home study. He has played a huge part in making our little one feel…

Hi. I live in Knoxville and we adopted a 4 year old (through Omni Visions) a little over 3 years ago. What a joy. He was in foster care and fortunately he was available the same time that we finished our classes and all of the other "stuff". I feel…

Me too! My oldest son is our biological child and my youngest is my adopted child. Both are extremely special but I wish that everyone could experience the feeling that adoption brings. I'd be a proud member of the adoption snob club!

We adopted my youngest son from foster care. He had just turned 4 and had been in 5 foster homes in the last year. He came from a terrible situation of neglect and abuse, and we were incredibly lucky to get him. He had a few behavioral and educational hurdles to jump, but he was so eager to learn and always wants to please. We couldn't be a happier family. My oldest son is our biological child and is 7 years older than his little brother. Life is good.
