We have adopted ten times and currently have six boys and four girls. Five of our children were brought home to us from Korea, two from Liberia, two from domestic adoption, and one through a China/domestic adoption disruption. We have lots of experience with adoption, RAD, and special needs. We are active in our church, community and homeschool our children for His glory!
How wonderful that two are completely healed! Our Savior's atonement is truly amazing! Thanks for sharing your stories. I hope to hear good things in the future about Miss K, Mr E, and baby I.
Kimberly! Welcome to adoption voices! I am so glad you joined. :) I am so amazed by you and your family! Your family pictures are truly inspiring! I was hoping to learn more about your children with special needs. I know that when adopting children with special needs there are grants that lessen the cost of adoption. I also know that the term "special needs" can be much broader that what most think, when relating to adoption. How many of your children are special needs? Is there a wide spectrum with their different needs?
You are my hero for home schooling as well! That is so wonderful. I am sure that helps with attachment and bonding. I plan to home school when my children are older.
