"Our son is biracial, too. It is true ignorance for people to be judgemental! I pray for people that give us grief!
We have been asked time and time again if he is our son! Ofcourse he is our son is the answer that I always give!
I can definitely…"
If you have adopted, or ar hoping to do so, which agency have you used?

At the young age of 24, I was diagnosed with Uterine cancer and was forced to have a complete hysterectomy. We began the adoption process with an agency in Nebraska, where we currently lived at the time. We had a failed adoption during that time. We decided to take an emotional break from the adoption process and heal. Nine months later, we were contacted by a friend of mine that has a few contacts of a situation that seemed perfect for us. Four weeks later, we were holding our precious little boy! Callum Michael was born July 17, 2006. We have a closed adoption with is birthparents, but do know alot of information about them and his biological siblings. A year ago, we signed up with a agency and were matched up rather quickly. We had 1 failed adoption, but a month after, we were matched up with another birthmom that was due 3 months later on May 17, 2010, the final addition to our family was born. Blythe Mae was and still is a petite little girl and the perfect piece to our family puzzle!

Yes, the adoption journey can be very up and down! I did have some confusion about it all in my teen years, but overall, I'm thankful for the direction my life took 31 years ago. :) I see you live in South Dakota and used to live in Nebraska. I live in Nebraska now (Ashland, between Omaha and Lincoln) and grew up very close to South Dakota in northwest Iowa. Where in Nebraska did you live? Congrats on the adoption of your little boy and good luck on adoption #2!
