"totally agree with saraspencer. Our current foster daughter came with 20 large garbage bags of STUFF! I didn't thow, or donate any of it for a month or so..but eventually let stuff go and kept those things that were important to her."

What and how much should be saved from early years of a child in fostercare that has been adopted

WE are not a typical foster adopt situation. I have heard tales of children removed from dangerous situations with only their clothes on their backs or a black trash bag full of clothes and some stuffed animals ect.Our children were first placed with their Maternal grandparents when removed by the CPS workers. Share a little about your adoption story
I have adopted 2 bio siblings from the County that I reside in. They were infant and toddler when they arrived and are now 5 and 8. I also have 2 older children from my first marriage. I currently have children with special needs and work in Elementary Education with Students with Special Needs.

It's going to be fun :) My Husband is a DJ so we are even setting up lights and everything. Food, games, dancing :) It's a costume party too :) Wish you were closer.

We have about 60 kids on our street and about 10 streets in our neighborhood that have nearly as many. Plus many people drive to our neighborhood because they know it is a good place to get lots of candy!

We are very Happy to have them right now. I'll try to keep updated pictures of all 5 of them before they go to their new homes. They are tiny :0)
