I made this montage while we were waiting to travel in 2007. While we were discussing adoption, our future daughter was being helped by LWB and a generous donor. We will never forget the precious gift.
"Time? what is time? I'm so far from superwoman it's funny. You must have me confused with someone else.....LoL..... Just flying by the seat of my pants here. Always glad to see YOU though, anywhere we happen to meet up!"
Commonly called "special needs", children who have a medical diagnosis attached are often over looked by adopting couples. To know them is to truly love them! Share your experience with these remarkable kids!See More
We adopted Cami, age 2, from the China SN program in 2007. She had been born with cleft lip and palate. We hardly even think of her special need these days. Almost two years from the time we brought Cami home, we returned to China (June 2009) and adopted Delilah, almost 3, from Inner Mongolia province. She has a spinal thethered cord and we don't know yet when or if she will need additional surgery. She is beautiful and perfect. Both children have fit into our family like missing pieces of a puzzle!
