- hopeful adoptive parent, just starting adoption process, considering adoption
We have been married for three years now with the dream of adding to our family. We live in Talkeetna, Alaska with our two wonderful kids, Forrest (17) and Denali (12) from Tim's previous marriage, who add so much love and joy to our lives every day. We have taken for granted, as so many do, that having a child together would be easy. With much heartbreak we have found this to not be the case. We have been through many medical tests, trials and tears. And still no baby.
We are now looking to adoption as an answer to our prayers. This comes with its own challenges as those who have adopted or are in the process well know. It always seems to come back to money whether it is for medical procedures or all the related adoption expenses. Having a child is so easy for most and so painfully hard for those facing our same situation.

We are now looking to adoption as an answer to our prayers. This comes with its own challenges as those who have adopted or are in the process well know. It always seems to come back to money whether it is for medical procedures or all the related adoption expenses. Having a child is so easy for most and so painfully hard for those facing our same situation.
