almost adopted!!!!!!
I'm so happy to find this website! I have a 15 month old baby girl. our adoption is scheduled for the 14th woohoo!!! This has been a very rocky road(foster adopt) we've had her since birth and bio's are a pain in the ass.(there was also a stepdad involved)so she not only had to visit mom and dad but stepdad as well. rights were terminated in april and both bio's are appealing the term. ugh!!!!! i know it'll never happen but it will be in the back of my mind. This has been so hard emotionally, physically and spiritually, hard on my marriage and family. the outcome will be good though and I'm so lucky and blessed to be her mommy!!!!!!!

so heres a new twist to my story, dh informed me last night he wants a divorce and is not signing adoption papers......the adoption is in 4 days!!!!! we have been having problems for a long time and this has really put a strain on our marriage. i did talk him into staying and trying to work it out. we are sooooo close! it's been such a long haul and i really don't wanna start all over again with homestudies ect.... and then trying to adopt her as a single parent. i don't know how well that would go over. ugh!!!!! can't take much more stress!!!

Congrats and good luck. We have been foster parents for almost a year now with the hopes of adopting. It makes me excited to hear of other families who have had success and helps us keep faith and know that our day and child/children will come.
