"Photos are always a fabulous thing. I once met a lady who had placed over 40 years ago and she talked about how wonderful it was when she met her son and his adoptive parents to see his life through photos and through their eyes. It meant the world…"
I don't have a current e-mail address for you. We are having BP Support Group Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wed. Next meeting is Jan. 27th at 6:30pm, please invite other birth mothers you have contact with.
"I think many adoptions can be through someone you know who knows someone. Our daughter came to us that exact way. I think that is why talking about adoption and your hope to adopt is important because you never know who might know someone. :-) I say…"

"My husband and I got matched to our birth mom in July. She is due in November and we are going to meet her soon. I'm going to prepare her a little care bag for the hospital. I'm going to make a quilted bag and put a bathrobe, slippers, gum…"
We waited three years to adopt our first little boy and were chosen through our online agency profile. Our second adoption was a designated adoption (where a friend of ours knew the birth mom) and we ended up still using our agency to finalize. Our children are now almost 3 & 5 and we are hoping to adopt again.
