- My husband and I were married in June of 2005. We started the adoption process in June of 2007. We waited and waited and prayed and waited some more and then in December of 2008 we were matched with our birthmom and our beautiful baby boy was born on January 1st 2009. We continue to be involved with adoption through Families Supporting Adoption organization.
