How are you touched by adoption?: adoptee

Share a little about your adoption story: I was adopted at the age of 2 months old. I was adopted from the state of NY into the state of NJ. I know my birth name was Donna Jean Lombardi. I know that I am the youngest of 5 children. My BM had 2 kids as well as my BF had 2. I have searched for 10 years will no luck. Theres is more to my story, but I don't like telling and re-telling it because it hard to accept. It is my wish to find my BM so that I can say "thank you". She made the right choice for me. I have wonderful, loving parents as well as a sister.

"Gotcha Day"

I know of a family who had three adopted children. They each get a special day during the year (aside from their birthday) know as "Gotch Day". Each child gets to celebrate the day that they joined the family. What a GREAT idea!!!

Does anybody else celebrate like this????
