I live in Florida and i too am looking to adopt an infant! I am single and although i know the normal fees but i am shocked at some situations! I am thinking will this ever happen!

- i am looking to adopt. I am home study approved in florida and am looking for an infant.I would love to give a child the gift of life,the gift to grow up to be the best he/she can be. I believe a baby doesn't just grow in the tummy ,they grow in the heart!
UPDATE: I am currently attending MAPP classes for foster care!!!! If anyone has any experiences send me your thoughts!!

Heather and Matt said… - The last mom we were matched with was from Cape Coral--that didn't work out the day before we were supposed to take little man home sadly.
We're taking the classes through Florida Baptist children's home...that is who we were referred to after we filled out the information for the state. They start June 29th I believe and are every Tuesday for 10 weeks.
Would love to hear about your experiences with the classes.

- Please let us know what if anything that you would include in a life book about your role as a foster parent before adoption. Do you have something your saving that is special from mapp classes while studying to be a foster mommy. Have you a special picture of a future bedroom a poem about hope. Join in at Lifebook by Laura and include your thoughts.
